Our Services
Below is a menu of our available dental services:
Orthodontics
Our practice philosophy incorporates orthopaedic, orthodontic and orthognathic approaches to correct problems with development of the face, the bite (occlusion) and alignment of the teeth. To get the best result in a minimum of time, a combination of these techniques may be used for your treatment. We have undertaken orthodontics for the last 20 years!
Children’s Dentistry
Our highly qualified and very experienced nurses and dental therapist (they have young children themselves), encourage our youngest patients to be calm and confident in a situation that may be stressful for them. This is essential for successful treatment outcomes with children.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Our approach to cosmetic dentistry is integrated and holistic. What we mean by this is that in order to achieve an ideal smile, different dental techniques and disciplines may need to be utilised. Orthodontics may be required for alignment and to correct facial dimensions.
Teeth Whitening
This process is a one off and one appointment procedure taking only one hour to complete. It lasts indefinitely and does not deteriorate in our experience.
Dentures
We undertake all those procedures required to replace lost teeth in the dental arch. This may be replacement of the total arch. That is, a full immediate denture to replace teeth sacrificed as a result of terminal gum disease or partial replacement where teeth have been lost over a number of years.
Dental Oral Surgery
We undertake most aspects of dental oral surgery including the removal of cysts, roots and impacted “wisdom teeth”. Teeth are sometimes removed before the placement of immediate dentures. Because the unnecessary removal of teeth breaks the stability of the dental arch we assess each case carefully.
Gum Disease Treatment
This is an aspect of preventive dentistry which involves advanced oral hygiene techniques and practices.
Occlusal Therapy
This is a common therapy in our practice which recognises chronic pain or headache in the vicinity of the jaw joints which may extend into the neck muscles. There will sometimes be “clicks” in the joint and restriction of jaw function.
Root Canal Treatment
Commonly known as Root Canal Treatment or Therapy . We routinely use this treatment to save and retain teeth that have undergone severe trauma via accident or advanced dental decay
